Restate is a voice-guided relaxation app. We designed it to work without an account and to keep your personal content on your device. This policy explains what little data leaves your device, and why.
Restate does not require sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location, and we do not build any profile of you.
Journal entries, check-in responses, practice history, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. To validate your subscription across reinstalls, we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase history. This information is used solely to unlock the features you paid for. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking.
Audio and video content is downloaded on demand from our content delivery network (Cloudflare). Like any web server, it processes your IP address in standard server logs for delivery and abuse prevention. We do not use this to identify or track you.
Restate contains no advertising and no analytics trackers. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
Restate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
