Change the state you’re in.

Pick where you are — wired, foggy, restless, wide awake at 3 a.m. — and we’ll carry you somewhere else. A voice guides you through it. A soundscape holds the room underneath.

A voice that stays with you

The screen drops to a full-bleed canvas, so there’s nothing left to tap. A voice walks you through the practice while the soundscape holds the room underneath. Lock your phone and it keeps playing.

Sound that never loops

Nothing ever snaps back to a beginning the way a looping track does. Stay longer and it keeps unfolding — add time whenever you want.

Hear who’s guiding you

Tap any practice — even one you haven’t unlocked — and you’ll hear the voice that guides it and read exactly what it covers. We’d rather you find the right guide than the fastest one.

The right practice, one tap away

The widget reads the time of day, suggests a practice for it, and opens straight into it. No hunting through the app when you’ve already got thirty seconds.

78 practices

One for wherever you are.

We organize the whole library by the state you’re in — stress, sleep, focus, transitions, difficult emotions, body, and energy. Every practice pairs a voice with its own soundscape, and every one of them was written for a specific moment rather than a general mood.

40 soundscapes

Forty places to be.

Each soundscape drifts instead of looping, so it never lands the same way twice — rain on a real roof, a real fire, a real room, a busy street in Paris. Stay in one for an hour — the rain rises and eases, the fire crackles unevenly, the room settles around you.

FAQ

Get clarity on how Restate works, what’s free, and where your data goes. Still have questions? Email support@getrestateapp.com and we’ll get back to you.

What is Restate?

A voice-guided audio app for the state you’re in. Pick where you are — stressed, wired, scattered, or wide awake at 3 a.m. — and Restate opens a practice built for that exact moment. Each one pairs a spoken guide with a soundscape and a breathing rhythm, so you can move out of one state and into another.

What’s the difference between a practice and a soundscape?

A practice is a guided session: voice, soundscape, and a breathing rhythm working together. A soundscape is the ambient side on its own — play it by itself or underneath any practice, switch it out mid-session, and reshape it until the room sounds right.

How much can I use for free?

Plenty to decide with. The free plan includes one full practice and three soundscapes — Liquid Flow, Resonant Bowls, and Zen Oasis — so you can run a complete session before spending anything. Restate Pro unlocks all 78 practices and 40 soundscapes.

What does Pro cost?

There’s a monthly plan and a yearly plan, and the yearly one is discounted for your first year. The app shows you the exact price for your region before you confirm anything.

How do I cancel?

Anytime, in two taps. Open Settings and tap Manage Subscription, or go to iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Can I listen offline?

Yes. With Restate Pro, turn on Auto-download Content in Settings → Storage and it pulls everything down in the background — about 920 MB. Wi-Fi Only is on by default, so background downloads wait for Wi-Fi. Anything you tap plays right away on any network.

Does audio keep playing when the screen is off?

Yes. Closing a session doesn’t stop it. Audio continues in the background, and you can control playback from the lock screen and the Dynamic Island. AirPlay works too.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign-up, no login, and nothing to verify.

Where does my data go?

It stays on your device. Journal entries, check-in responses, practice history, and preferences are never uploaded. There are no ads and no analytics trackers. Purchases go through Apple; we use RevenueCat with an anonymous identifier so your subscription survives a reinstall.

How do I get help?

Email support@getrestateapp.com and tell us what you were doing when it happened. You can also reach us on Instagram or Threads.
